Je crois effectivement que ça sera Hogson.
Car tous les autres noms sont sous contrat et casser un contrat coute cher, très cher.....
Mais on peut toujours rêver!

Il semble probable qu'a Laguna Seca ce soit un pilote de Honda USA qui monte sur la RC212V d'Elias, on parle de Duhamel ou Zemke...
Ça va devenir un championnat exclusivement ricain si ça continue!!!
Bon trève de plaisanterie, tout ça ne nous dis pas qui grimpera dessus au Sachsenring.... Un pilote allemand peut-être! Allez tous ensemble on demande à Seb Charpentier de prendre un passeport allemand!

J'ai vu la news sur cycle news et perso je serais pas mécontent de voir Duhamel piloté la moto de Elias à Laguna. Il le mérite je trouve, rien que ça longue carrière. Mais je crois qu'il s'agit la de ragots.

American Honda's Ron Heben is quickly learning just how fast word travels on the Internet. With just a simple discussion of who would be available to ride the injured Toni Elias' Gresini Honda at the Red Bull U.S. GP, news has spread quickly that Miguel Duhamel is the man slated to take the ride.

"I'm surprised at how it gets out so quickly," said Heben, American Honda's road race team manager. "Three people have discussed it and now it's out there. Nothing is for sure at this point. We've just mentioned Miguel as a potential. I think it's been brought up for discussion, but nothing has been finalized. Other names are probably in the pot too."

Sinon y'a garry mc coy qui s'ennuie aussi, perso j'aimerai bien le voir revenir, quand il est pas à l'hosto il va très vite ! Mais bon, je pense pas que gresini soit prêt à sacrifier 15 motos par week end, dommage !

T'y va un peu fort là, Mc COY est quand même pas si souvent que ça au tapis, il peut être très rapide avec la moto qu'il faut alors pourquoi pas!!!

Tiens une idée con: Et si s'était Kenny ROBERTS qui remplaçais ELIAS vu que son frère le remplace au sein du team de son père et qu'ils ont un moteur fourni par HONDA ....

AMA veteran, Miguel Duhamel could be called up to replace Tony Elias at the US Moto GP.

With the Spaniard expected be out for at least the next two rounds following his femur fracture at Assen, Gresini Honda is believed to be seeking the services of DuHamel for Laguna Seca - the last race before the summer break and a track the 39-year-old Canadian is very familiar with.

With the exception of 1992 - when he finished 12th in the 500cc World Championship for Team Yamaha France -
Duhamel has raced in the AMA championships continuously since 1990, winning eight titles - one in Superbike, five in Supersport and two in Formula Xtreme - plus five Daytona 200 victories.

It is that immense experience that Gresini Honda reportedly plans to exploit at the notoriously tough-to-learn Laguna Seca - where DuHamel's former rival Nicky Hayden has taken victory on both of MotoGP's previous visits.

DuHamel is currently fourth in the AMA Superbike championship, with a best finish of second so far this season.

Gresini Honda, the only RC212V team to use Bridgestone tyres, has been the best performing satellite Honda outfit during a difficult year for HRC - Elias and Marco Melandri having taken one podium each from the first nine rounds.

It is not yet know if Gresini plans to field a second rider alongside Melandri at the German Grand Prix, which takes place just one week before the US GP, although former WCM MotoGP rider Michel Fabrizio - who now rides for Honda in WSBK - has been linked to the seat.

Le GP au US cette année ça va être qqchose!

Quand à Fabrizio, j'imagine que c'était le choix le plus simple, au moins du point de vue des contrats.

Il y a des pilotes avec beaucoup plus de potentiel mais ils ne peuvent pas changer en cours de saison.
