Je viens de remarquer que le circuit tournait dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre. Et cela peut avantager certains pilotes. Et je pense surtout à Marquez et Pedrosa qui sont souvent en réussite sur les circuits comme ça.
En effet que ce soit Indianapolis, Sachsenring ou Aragon, Marquez a toujours été excellent. Un peu moins à Valencia ou Philip Island, mais quand même.
Et pour Pedrosa, lui aussi a toujours eu d'excellents résultats au Sachsenring, et fait souvent podiums ou victoires à Aragon ou Indy. Bon pour PI, c'est pas trop ça mais voilà.

C'était le petit point stat du jour!

Et super presentation...

je mettrais une piece sur Lorenzo quand meme... je pense qu il a caché un peu son jeu... un peu comme au qatar.... il l a joué super discret pendant les essais pour faire une course tout en maitrise... donc, une piecette sur lorenzo

Je ne sais pas s'il a caché son jeu. En tout cas, je pense que si les Honda sont supérieures aux Yamaha, Lorenzo controlera et ne prendra pas de risques. Il ne sait que trop bien l'importance du moindre résultat blanc.

Incendie la nuit dernière chez Tech3 dans les garages, un démarreur de MotoGP a eu un court circuit et à pris feu. Grâce aux détecteurs de fumée et d'eau, le feu a pu être rapidement maitrisé par les pompiers. Mais il y a quand même des pertes et des dommages. L'arrosage automatique est aussi parti dans les box de Yamaha, LCR et Cardion AB.

The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team would like to thank the Circuit of the
Americas (COTA) and local Austin Fire Department staff for their
immediate action after a small fire broke out inside Cal Crutchlow and
Bradley Smith’s pit garage overnight.

One of the electric starters used to start the Team’s Yamaha YZR-M1
machinery caught fire, but thanks to the high standards of safety and
fire prevention at the new COTA track, a sprinkler system was
immediately activated and prevented any serious damage.

Computer equipment was damaged but despite the disruption to
preparations for the inaugural Circuit of the Americas race, the
Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team is not anticipating the fire incident
causing any problems to its participation in this weekend’s much
anticipated first race in Texas.

Team staff will now commence a thorough investigation into the cause
of the fire and the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team would also like to
place on record its appreciation to the management and staff at Yamaha
for its cooperation in helping the French-based squad be as best
prepared as possible for the weekend.

Herve Poncharal – Team Manager:

“Unfortunately there was a small incident inside the Monster Yamaha
Tech 3 garage overnight. The process of starting a MotoGP machine
requires an electric starter and overnight they are left on charge.
This is standard procedure and something we have been doing ever since
the introduction of the four-stroke era. Unfortunately in the night
one of the batteries caught fire. We have suffered quite a lot of
damage and of course it is not ideal preparations but thankfully the
fire prevention measures undertaken by the Circuit of the Americas and
the assistance of the local Fire Department were invaluable in
limiting the damage. The sprinkler system was immediately activated
and fire crews on scene promptly and I am grateful for that. We will
be conducting a thorough investigation to find out why this issue
occurred and take the necessary steps to ensure it is not repeated in
the future. I would like to apologise to the Yamaha Factory Team, LCR
Honda and Cardion AB too, as the sprinkler system was also activated
inside their pit area as well. But it could have been much worse and
with the fantastic support of Yamaha and others in the close-knit
MotoGP community, I am confident we can participate in this
weekend’s race without any additional problems.

comme dab rien à redire sur cette super présentation !
2ème GP de suite sous le soleil ??!! ça change de 2012... :D

Fin de la FP1 et on peut dire que Marquez est rapide. Dès le début il était devant et Lorenzo est bien revenu sur les dernières minutes. Sinon derrière gros écart avec Pedrosa qui est à 1"6. Ce n'est que la FP1 mais on voit que ceux qui ont roulé ici sont devants et ont creusé un bel écart.
Belle surprise avec les Ducati de Dovi et Hayden qui sont à 2 secondes. En fait quelques soit le circuit ils sont à 2 secondes:)
Derrière les écarts sont quand même important avec Spies qui est à 4 secondes alors qu'il est 10ème.
Hernandez et Corti sont biens en tant que 1er CRT, mais je pense qu'ils vont souffrir sur ce circuit.
Iannone à 6":fou:
Barbera 22ème à 9":fou:
En revanche je ne comprends pas à quoi servent les wild cards. Alors je veux bien qu'ils découvrent les Moto et que les écarts sont important, mais une nouvelle fois ils risquent de ne pas se qualifier et s'ils se qualifient risquent encore d'être dangereux pour les autres. Et puis honnêtement, ils n'ont pas un autre pilote que Mike Barnes qui a 45 ans?? Comment être sérieux quand on fait rouler un mec qui a 25 ans de plus que le leader:D

ça roule quand meme encore trés loin des chronos des tests,Marquez avait roulé en 2.03.281 et Pedrosa 2.03.898
